TENNESSEE VALLEY, Ala. (WAFF) - Some school systems in north Alabama are closing or moving to remote learning on Thursday due to the threat of severe weather.

Franklin County Schools

Jackson County Schools

Lawrence County Schools

Muscle Shoals City Schools

New Freedom Daycare

Russellville City Schools

Huntsville City Schools

Madison County Schools

St. John Paul II Catholic High School

Limestone County Schools

Riverside Christian Academy

Fayetteville City Schools

Madison Academy

Kids Central Childcare Center in Decatur

Rocket City Academy

Athens State University

Cullman City Schools

REMOTE LEARNING

Cullman County Schools

Northwest-Shoals Community College

Athens City Schools

Hartselle City Schools

Scottsboro City Schools

Madison City Schools

Morgan County Schools (Thursday and Friday)

Decatur City Schools (All DCS faculty are expected to report to work)

Calhoun Community College

EARLY DISMISSAL

Albertville High School, middle school, elementary school and primary school will release at 1 p.m.

AKPK and Albertville Intermediate School will release at 12:30 p.m.

Arab City Schools will release two hours early.

Marshall County Schools will release at 12:30 p.m.
