No injuries reported in Huntsville house explosion
An independent contractor was allegedly doing work in the area and struck a gas pipe, causing a leak.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) - Crews with the Moores Mill and New Market Fire Departments responded to an explosion in Huntsville Saturday afternoon.
According to the daughter of the homeowner, the family living had to evacuate its home on Brevard Boulevard after an explosion Saturday afternoon.
An independent contractor was allegedly doing work in the area and struck a gas pipe, causing a gas leak.
No injuries were reported in the explosion or fire.
